Gemstone Spotlight

There are hundreds of types of gemstones gracing our planet. I want to feature some of them, one or two at a time. Many people encounter gemstones in relation to the common birthstone correspondence. There are so many more to enjoy, to work with energetically/metaphsyically.

Birthstone correspondences can be tricky depending on how you want to look at it. The generally accepted list of birthstones by month can be found here. When you start looking at individual astrological signs the “menu” gets larger. Each astrological sign straddles parts of 2 months. For example, if you are a Capricorn your birthday could fall anywhere from December 22 to January 21st.
